The CyclOn SBR Bedding-In System cannot be missing from any shop's modern workshop these days. A bicycle fitted with disc brakes must be properly braked before it is delivered to the consumer. Normally it takes 15 to 30 minutes to break in disc brakes on the road, but with the SBR Bedding-In System designed by CyclOn it takes a maximum of 2 minutes.
Currently, the machine is already being used in more than 1,200 workshops by professional mechanics in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. The CyclOn SBR Bedding-In System provides instant braking security and optimal braking power immediately when commissioning a new bike or after replacing brake pads. With this innovative machine, mechanics save valuable time. The bedding-in process takes only a maximum of 2 minutes per bike, as opposed to the usual 15-30 minutes on the road.
The unique selling point of this service attracts customers to the physical shop. This service is exclusively available offline, resulting in higher customer flow in the workshop and shop.
The versatile bedding-in machine is not only ideal for post-manufacturing bicycle braking, but can also be used efficiently when assembling new bicycles.
Step 01
Plug in the power plug and switch on the machine using the on/off switch. Use the direction switch to set the correct driving direction.
Step 02
Place the front wheel in the rollers of the machine and make sure the bike is in a straight line in relation to the machine. Keep the rear brake applied for stability
Step 03
Use the foot pedal to start the machine running; after 5 seconds, the CyclOn SBR Bedding-In System will be running at about 25 km/h. Then squeeze the front brake for about 5 seconds without locking the wheel, then release for 5 seconds. Repeat this 10 to 15 times. Remove your foot from the pedal and let the machine coast.
Step 04
Flip the directional switch and place the bike with the rear wheel on the rollers of the bedding-in machine. Hold the bike by the saddle and grab the handlebars with the other hand so that the rear brake can be pulled on. Repeat the braking procedure.
