Clean. Lubricate. Protect.
A clean bike not only looks better, but also performs better and lasts longer. Dirt, sand and mud cause extra wear on the drivetrain, while moisture and dirt can shorten the lifespan of components.
Fortunately, proper bike maintenance does not have to be complicated. With the right products, you can easily keep your road bike, mountain bike, gravel bike, city bike or e-bike in top condition.
At CyclOn, we believe in three simple steps: Clean, Lubricate and Protect.
Step 1 – Clean
A clean bike is the foundation of proper maintenance. Start by rinsing the bike to remove loose dirt and mud. Then spray CyclOn Bike Cleaner generously onto the frame, fork, wheels and other components. Let the Bike Cleaner work for a few minutes so the dirt can loosen easily.
Next, grab the CyclOn Brush Kit. The specially developed brushes allow you to thoroughly clean every part of your bike.
Is the drivetrain heavily contaminated? Use CyclOn Bionet Chain Cleaner. This degreaser removes oil, grease and stubborn dirt while preserving the protective greases inside the chain.
Rinse the bike with clean water and dry it carefully with the CyclOn Microfiber Cleaning Cloth.

Step 2 – Lubricate
After cleaning, the chain is free from dirt and old lubricant. To reduce wear and keep shifting smooth, it is important to lubricate the drivetrain again.
CyclOn has a suitable chain lubricant for every riding condition:
- All Weather Lube – Ideal for all weather conditions.
- Dry Weather Lube – For dry and dusty conditions.
- Wet Weather Lube – For wet and muddy rides.
- Wax Lube – For a clean drivetrain with minimal dirt build-up.
Apply one drop of lubricant to each chain link while slowly turning the pedals. Let the lubricant penetrate for a few minutes and then wipe away any excess with a clean cloth. This keeps the chain clean, shifting smooth and helps the entire drivetrain last longer.

Step 3 – Protect
The final step is protecting your bike. Applying a protective layer helps keep your bike cleaner for longer and protects the frame against moisture, dirt and corrosion.
Spray CyclOn Bike Protector evenly over the frame and buff the product with a CyclOn Microfiber Cleaning Cloth. This creates a protective layer that makes it harder for water and dirt to stick to the frame.
Do you have a bike with a matt finish? Use CyclOn Matt Protector. It protects matt paint without leaving a shine and preserves the original appearance of your bike.

Why regular bike maintenance matters
By regularly cleaning, lubricating and protecting your bike, you:
- extend the lifespan of the chain, cassette and sprockets;
- keep your bike shifting more smoothly and quietly;
- keep the frame looking good for longer;
- reduce how quickly dirt sticks to the bike;
- prevent unnecessary wear and costly repairs;
- stay ready for your next ride.
A maintenance session often takes no more than 15 to 20 minutes, but it makes a big difference. Your bike rides better, components last longer and you avoid unnecessary maintenance costs.
